Earlier in Indonesia has some even about art and culture, one of them will be held is Art Summit Indonesia V. This contemporary art festival preented by The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Republic of Indonesia. This internationally scaled event organized since 1995 which occurs every 3 (three) years, presents world-class artist with their masterpiece performances.
Art Summit Indonesia V theme is To Join the Diversity. About 13 (but Media Indonesia version is 15) art group from eleven countries will present music, dance and theater performances. Those 11 countries are France, Spain, German, Singapore, Argentina, Egypt, South Korea, India, New Zealand, Belgium, and Indonesia. According the organizer statement, this event is dedicated to the people of Indonesia, especially young generation, introducing them to contemporary art.
Art Summit Indonesia V will be held in three different place in Jakarta, Jakarta Art Building (Gedung Kesenian Jakarta), Ismail Marzuki Park, and Goethe Institute. So, if you are in Jakarta don't forget to see some world masterpiece art performance at Art Summit Indonesia V from November 1st until 30th November 2007.
